Job description
Title: Marketing Executive
Location: Kampala, Uganda
The Marketing Executive will actively participate in strengthening the Lapaire brand and growing its awareness in its territory (Uganda) by executing the group's multi-channel marketing strategy and actively contributing to the marketing plan. He/she will report to the Retail Marketing Manager and the Country Operations Manager.
The mission of the Marketing Executive is to:
- Understand the marketing plan and share ideas for marketing projects that correspond to Lapaire's target and objectives in Uganda
- Sourcing local partners and service providers (printers, advertising agencies, radio, TV, etc.) and negotiating the best rates
- Developing marketing materials
- Briefing sales teams on campaigns in collaboration with the Operations Manager
- Sourcing and managing local influencers representing the Lapaire brand
- Contribute actively in developing a winning marketing strategy for Uganda
- Execute the marketing strategy, including offline marketing activities, building and strengthening brand partnerships, improving marketing mix and customer experience
- Participate in growing Lapaire's community across all digital platforms
- Provide advanced reporting on marketing activities led in Uganda.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Marketing/Communications
- At least 2 years of successful experience in a similar position, in an agency or corporate environment
- You have significant experience in Marketing and PR project management and can adapt in an always changing environment
- You have an excellent command of digital tools

The starting gross salary budget the role is UGX. 1,500,000 with a performance-based bonus of up to UGX. 300,000, plus transportation & telecommunication allowance.
